Usman Ilyas ("I," "me," or "my") is an independent freelance service provider offering Amazon account management and ecommerce support services. This Privacy Policy describes how I collect, use, store, protect, and dispose of information in connection with the services I provide to my clients ("Selling Partners").
In the course of providing services, I may access information through Amazon Seller Central or related Amazon platforms on behalf of authorized Selling Partners. This may include order data, product listings, advertising metrics, inventory data, and account performance information. I only access information that is necessary to perform the specific services agreed upon with each client.
All information accessed is used solely for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon services to the authorizing Selling Partner. I do not use client data for any personal purposes, marketing, resale, aggregation across clients, or any purpose other than fulfilling my service obligations.
I handle any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) encountered through Amazon services with the highest level of care. PII is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill order-related services or comply with legal and tax requirements, and in no case longer than 30 days after order delivery unless required by applicable law. PII is encrypted both in transit and at rest, and is never shared with unauthorized parties.
I implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect all information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include encrypted storage and communications, access controls, secure credential management with multi-factor authentication, regular security reviews, and compliance with industry-standard security practices.
I do not sell, rent, share, or disclose any client information or Amazon data to third parties. Information is only shared when explicitly required to perform authorized services, when required by applicable law, or when requested in writing by the authorizing Selling Partner.
I retain information only for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations. Upon termination of a service engagement, or upon request by the Selling Partner, all client data and Amazon-sourced information is securely deleted in accordance with industry-standard sanitization practices. I comply promptly with any data deletion requests from Amazon.
Clients have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any data I hold related to their accounts. Such requests will be honored promptly. Clients may also revoke my access to their Amazon accounts at any time.
I operate in compliance with Amazon's Data Protection Policy (DPP), Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), and all applicable data privacy and protection laws and regulations. I regularly review my practices to ensure continued compliance with these policies.
In the event of any suspected or actual security incident involving client data, I will promptly investigate the incident, take appropriate remediation actions, and notify affected clients and Amazon within 24 hours of detection, in accordance with Amazon's requirements.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
